About Midwest Distribution

 

We are a CVE Verified Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) company focused on supplying private and governmental agencies with American-made global sourced steel products. We proudly source and distribute steel products that range from carts, racks, totes, and containers to wire baskets and stackable containers. Our products also have a 1-year warranty for manufacturer defects.

 

We distribute products to OEM’s, retailers, closed-loop DC operations, Logistics and warehouse facilities, government agencies, and greenhouse/nursery operations. We pride ourselves on the ability to provide a wide range of steel and stainless steel products using sheet metal, rod, and tubular substrates.

 

CAD and other technical assistance are available “in-house” in order to offer custom solutions and meet your requirements. We also have 2 global sourced partners who can provide parts that meet our standards of excellence. Midwest is a cost-effective full-range provider of quality durable products with years of experience in the metals industry.

Jon R. Marler

President and CEO

Mr. Marler serves as the President and CEO of Midwest Distribution LLC, a CVE Verified VOSB. Created in 2009 to offer steel material handling and other products to a wide variety of end-users, Midwest prides itself on excellence and quality service to its customers.

 

He served honorably in the United States Air Force and brings a wealth of administrative management and oversight experience to the operation of the company.  Mr. Marler has had a successful career that spans over 38 years owning and operating a commercial, multi-state real estate development company, material handling distribution network, and a management consulting firm.

 

After being honorably discharged from the US Air Force, he started his career in the metal fabrication industry.

Mr. Marler was honored with a Distinguished Service Award with the Indiana Chamber of Commerce as well as his public service as President of the Marion Common Council, Chairman of the Marion General Hospital IN Board of Directors, Chairman of the Community Foundation of Grant County, President of the Central Indiana Management Council and Board member of a Regional Bank in Indiana.

 

Mr. Marler graduated from Indiana State University with a BS degree in Business Management and Marketing and graduate studies at Ball State University.
